Preciosas imágenes de una Jodel D.140 Mousquetaire aterrizando en el altipuerto de Alpe d’Huez (AHZ/LFHU), en Francia, en un soleado día de febrero de 2008.
Como podemos ver en el video, la pista de éste altipuerto situada a 6.100 ft de altitud está cubierta de nieve, por lo que el avión necesita de un tren de aterrizaje mixto, con ruedas y esquís, para desplazarse por los apenas 450 metros de LDA y superar un desnivel medio de un 13%.
Vive la France !

hola !
Great video, i had the chance to land there in a DR400 and is no doubt an amazing experience.
I am a swedish pilot fan of landingshort, and just wish it could be an english version of it, until now my room mate has to translate the comments !
Anyway keep the great work up !

Yeah, every now and then I consider producing an english version of Landing Short… it is a great suggestion and it would be really engaging for me to do it.
Unfortunately, this blog is a personal effort that already takes a lot of hours out of my day time, and I cannot afford the additional time to translate and post in english as well.
But I don’t know, maybe in the future… never say never!
Anyway, it’s a pleasure to see that we reach an international audience, so please keep coming back and leaving your comments.
